Position Summary
Catalyst Operations and Analytics is seeking a versatile Data Scientist to analyze and integrate data across enterprise database systems. The ideal candidate will design and implement data migration solutions, focusing on identifying key data elements that provide operational insights and drive strategic decisions. This role is ideal for a data-driven professional eager to uncover and leverage critical data elements to optimize operational performance and drive strategic outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze and compare data models across various database systems to identify similarities, differences, and critical data elements.
Recommend and implement updates to enterprise systems, enabling efficient data transitions and optimized storage solutions.
Develop Python-based ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data, ensuring data integrity and operational efficiency.
Design algorithms and experiments to manage, analyze, and extract insights from large datasets, creating tailored reports and operational insights for stakeholders.
Act as a thought leader within the analytics team, collaborating to set strategies for advanced analytics and data science.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Statistics, or related fields.
5+ years of experience in the field of data analysis and data science.
Strong experience with data modeling in various database environments.
Proficient in Python, with additional familiarity in other programming languages such as R, Java, or Scala.
Demonstrated experience with REST APIs and automating cross-network data transfers.
Solid understanding of machine learning techniques, big data platforms, and data mining methodologies.
Excellent communication skills, with a proven ability to translate data analysis into actionable insights in collaborative, multidisciplinary environments.
